5. Clinical Assessments and Supply Under PGD
Some medicines at Kingsland Pharmacy are supplied under a Patient Group Direction (PGD). A PGD is a written instruction authorised by a clinical organisation that allows our pharmacist to supply a specific medicine to patients meeting defined criteria, without an individual prescription from a doctor.
By accessing a PGD-based service, you agree to:
- Answer all clinical assessment questions honestly and accurately
- Disclose all current medications, allergies, and relevant medical history
- Disclose any conditions that are listed as exclusion criteria for the service
- Follow the pharmacist’s instructions regarding dosing, timing, and follow-up
⚠ Accuracy of information is critical
Providing inaccurate or incomplete information during a clinical assessment puts your health at risk and may result in a medicine being supplied that is not safe for you. Our pharmacist makes clinical decisions based on the information you provide. We cannot be held responsible for adverse outcomes resulting from information you have withheld or provided incorrectly.
Our pharmacist may decline to supply a medicine where they have clinical concerns, where exclusion criteria are met, or where the clinical assessment cannot be completed satisfactorily. This decision is a professional clinical judgement and is not subject to commercial override.
